Milestones

 

2017

  • February: Provisioning freeze at 60 Oxford St. data center
  • February: "Cloud First" policy goes into effect
  • March: HUIT budget consolidation and freeze
  • April: Migrate enterprise apps (PeopleSoft and Oracle Financials) to the Cloud, improving time-to-recovery from months to hours
  • May: Form Application Portfolio Teams, and add AWS and Enquizit migration resources to increase velocity

2018

  • December: All HUIT applications migrated from 60 Oxford St. to the Cloud

2019

  • May/June: All non-HUIT applications and infrastructure moved out of the 60 Oxford Street data center
  • June: Relocate the network core
  • June 30: Close 60 Oxford Street data center
